  • Learning your space and knowing when 'me' is 'we'

  • Fighting a battle for minorities requires fact, research, and care for a community that is greater than you

    • Capitalizing on diversity and inclusion in a time when its 'trendy' comes at the cost of misrepresenting an entire community

  • Essentializing the experiences of thousands based on your own is selfish and allows for more division in a community that needs unity

  • Appropriating culture for popularity and benefit for your personal cause gives agency to others to do the same to you/ worse, to others
